Britannia Bridge turns blue

Enlightened lighting Ltd. from Bristol was asked to  facilitate the team from Network Rail to light the
iconic Britannia Bridge in Wales and turn it blue.

The Britannia Bridge in Wales is a bridge across the Menai Strait between the island of Anglesey and the
mainland of Wales. Bristol based company Enlightened lighting Ltd. was asked to  facilitate the team from
Network Rail to light the iconic railroad bridge and turn it blue to show their support and solidarity for the
NHS.UK and other key workers – including their frontline railway colleagues who are keeping essential
passenger journeys and freight moving across the network. Network Rails lighting of the Grade II listed
structure was supported by the Welsh Government and rail industry partners from Transport for Wales and
British Transport Police. For this the people from Enlightened used 16 IP-65 rated Showtec Helix S5000
Q4 outdoor washlights after a lighting design by Ben Dodds. The result is absolutely stunning as you can
see in the pictures, courtesy of Ben Dodds.
