On Friday 1st April, De Bonte Wever in Assen hosted the latest edition of Disco Wonderland. Revellers boogied the night away to classic songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s spun by DJs Hans Stroeve, Corné Klijn and Ben Liebrand.
Creating a true disco wonderland is no small feat and requires the perfect sound, lighting and video equipment as well as just the right special effects. That’s why the organisers turned to Inspiration Productions, a company who knows exactly what it takes to create the perfect atmosphere for any event.
Starting with twelve Infinity iB-2R moving light beams, they added sixteen Showtec Phantom 120 LED washes, eight Showtec Phantom 3R moving light beams, and four Showtec Vintage Blaze ’33 retro lights to the mix. Two Showtec Titan Strobe Blaze strobe lights ensured that even the worst dancers looked good too! Milos trusses meant that everything was mounted safely and securely. Spectacular visuals were shown on a 14m2 LED screen made up of DMT P4.6 pixels screens. No disco wonderland would be complete without a mirror ball, of course, and, for an occasion such as this, only one by Showgear measuring 100 cm would do. The Showtec Phantom 180 LED Wash is the successor to the Showtec Phantom 120 Wash.
