Pacha is one of Ibiza’s most famous superclubs and has been running since 1973! Recently, EventElevator wrote an article and made a video about the design and visual content done for the club’s weekly Solomun+1 event by Berlin design studio flora&faunavisions.
In the article (in German) and video (in English), EventElevator explain more about Solomun+1 at Pacha and how flora&faunavisions put together the design and visual content for Solomun. Featuring interviews with the project's key players, more about the impressive setup at Pacha is revealed. Solomun is an electronic music DJ who has a residency at Pacha and during his weekly Solomun+1 event, he invites different DJs to come along and perform. The club’s vibe changes especially for the event. After providing a complete visual concept for Solomun’s performance at Coachella, flora&faunavisions worked on the design for Solomun+1 at Pacha. The design even went beyond the club with posters and billboards being displayed at Ibiza airport. Pacha itself has recently been redesigned with the DJ booth in front of the dance floor and the VIP area behind. One of the main features is a huge moveable light installation consisting of 38 hexagons that can show video content and each one is surrounded by LED edges. This setup is complemented by an array of other moving lights, strobes, blinders, lasers and LEDs. Among them are twelve Showtec Expression 600Z LED moving light beams. The fact that this model, from 2015, is part of such an impressive light setup is testament to the quality and reliability of Showtec’s products.
