Nieuwe Honden (New Dogs) is the biggest show put together by students of the Arts, Theatre and Media departments at the Vista College in Heerlen, the Netherlands. Now in its 12th year, the event showcases the college’s hottest talent in many areas. Highlite plays a supporting role as a main sponsor and a few of its brands DAP, DMT, Infinity, Showtec and Showgear are used in the show.

Casa Batlló is a building in the centre of Barcelona that was designed by famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. The building is widely regarded as one of his masterpieces and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. This winter, the building is home to a spectacular light show with lots of equipment provided by Soiart, including lights and special effects by Showtec.

DAP introduces its newest range of loudspeakers with a stylish design for permanent install: WMS. These wall mount speakers are easy to install with the use of the included wall mounting plate. With the integrated ball joint the speakers are aimed and oriented effortlessly. They come in a variety of configurations: 16 ohm or 100 V, black or white, 4-inch woofer or 6-inch woofer, totalling 8 models to choose from.

Two Halloween-themed haunted houses set up by Production Pirates drew massive crowds using light and audio products from Showtec and DAP. For the two weeks around Halloween, Bellewaerde Park in Ieper, Belgium, turned into a Halloween immersion experience, with the two main attractions being the Funerarium and Mexican Massacre.

DAP’s new Silent Disco headphones and transmitter are far more versatile than their name suggests. In addition to letting people dance to their preferred music, they’re suitable for a whole host of applications: tours, audio guides, conferences, classes, multi-language communications and more are among the possibilities.

At Plasa Show 2022, held at Olympia London from 4-6 September, Highlite showed off numerous products from several of its brands including DAP, Showtec and Infinity. The range included some of its most popular products as well as some impressive new ones that are sure to become a success.
